ArcticAnchor™ continues to invest in independent testing to verify how its snow retention systems perform in real winter conditions.
ArcticAnchor™ components are evaluated through in-house development testing throughout the design process, and through independent third-party testing to verify the performance that matters once a system is installed on a roof.
What Gets Tested
Testing covers structural strength under tensile and shear loading, cold-temperature performance, and UV exposure for color and material stability, evaluated using methods referenced by applicable testing standards.
Why Independent Verification Matters
In-house testing helps guide product development, but independent, third-party testing adds an additional layer of verification that is not influenced by the manufacturer. ArcticAnchor™ works with SGS, an independent testing organization, for this purpose.
It is worth noting that component testing results describe how individual parts performed under specific, controlled conditions. They are not a substitute for a complete roof system design, and project-specific review may still be required. Full details on methodology and results are available on the testing resources page.
