We Don't Install Snow Retention. We Engineer and Manufacture It.
ArcticAnchor™ designs, engineers, and manufactures snow retention systems for standing seam, exposed fastener, tile, synthetic tile, slate, and specialty roofing applications. We develop our own material, produce our own components, and control the tooling and finish behind every part that ships, so the system that arrives on site performs the way it was engineered to.
Strong as Steel, Light as Air, Color That Lasts™
Why we started
Built From What the Trade Told Us Was Broken
ArcticAnchor™ started with a research question rather than a product line. Before we engineered anything, we spent our time with the people who install snow retention every winter, and we heard the same complaints repeatedly. Systems arrived with dozens of small parts. Layouts took longer than they should have. The line item was hard to justify to a customer, and homeowners were declining it on price.
So we engineered the answer. The Universal Clamp came directly out of those conversations: an anodized aluminum base with three fastening points, paired with TitanCore™, designed to fit roughly 80% of standing seam profiles in North America. That is 103 verified profiles across 23 manufacturers, and counting. One clamp instead of a catalogue of seam-specific parts.
We're a manufacturer that listened to the trade before drawing a single part. That is a different thing from being a roofing company, and it shows up in every system we build.
Systems built from dozens of loose parts to sort and track
Systems built from fewer components, ready to install
Complicated layouts that slowed crews down
Straightforward layouts crews can install with tools they already use
Installation time that ate into project schedules
Faster installation that helps keep projects on schedule
Pricing that made snow retention hard to justify
Practical pricing designed to fit the project budget
What we make
Snow Retention for Every Roof Type We Serve
Each ArcticAnchor™ system is developed around the attachment method and profile of a specific roof type, not adapted from a one-size-fits-all design.

Exclusive Canadian Distributor
A Proven Distribution Model in Canada
ArcticAnchor™ partners with Snow Stop as our exclusive distributor in Canada. Their reach and service set the standard for snow retention distribution across the country, giving Canadian contractors and suppliers the same access to ArcticAnchor™ systems as our US network.
Snow StopExclusive Canadian DistributorWhat makes us different
We Didn't Just Redesign the Hardware. We Built a New Material.
Most snow retention hardware is still the same steel and aluminum it was thirty years ago, reshaped a few times over. We took a different path and developed TitanCore™, our proprietary polymer platform engineered specifically for structural roofing hardware.
TitanCore™ is up to 7x lighter than steel, non-corroding, HPT-UVA stabilized for long-term outdoor exposure, and pigment-matched to spec so the finish stays consistent across the entire system. It also frees us from the geometry limits of formed metal. We can integrate features directly into a part instead of adding another component to the box.
The result is a rail system that holds over 3,500 lb across an 18" span, is rated and tested for -30°F conditions, and installs faster than anything built from heavier metal assemblies.
Manufacturing
Material Development and Production, Under One Roof
Owning the manufacturing is what makes the engineering possible. We develop the material and produce the components ourselves, backed by more than 30 years of manufacturing experience. That means we control part count, tolerance, color matching, and quality without negotiating any of it through a third-party supplier.
That control is what lets us do things a sourced-hardware brand can't:
- Fewer components.
Features are engineered into the part instead of added as another SKU.
- Full-system color matching.
Anodized aluminum and TitanCore™ pigment matched to the roof panel, not just the visible trim.
- No metal-on-metal contact.
No paint scratching, no seam marking, no long-term corrosion path.
- Design iteration on our schedule.
When a new panel profile shows up in the market, we can respond to it.
Engineering support
Engineering Support Is Part of the System
Panel profiles vary more than the industry admits. The same panel name can describe meaningfully different geometry from two manufacturers. So we run our own panel compatibility testing program. Send us a sample or your measurements and we confirm fitment, seam geometry, and torque requirements for your specific roof, usually within a day.
Every ArcticAnchor™ system is backed by our limited lifetime warranty.
